Job Description
NIGHT POSITION AVAILABLE - 3 and a half day work week (Half-day W, Th, Fr & Sat.)
Responsible for the positioning of trailers at the distribution center docks and shuttling loaded trailers to a designated location for pick up by OTR drivers. Past experience required moving a 53-foot trailer.
Benefits : Home daily, Up to 4 weeks of PTO a year, 6 paid Holidays, Medical/Dental insurance available the first of the month following your 30 days. Eligible for 401K after 90 days.
Pay Increase at completion of 90-day probationary period.
Must read and write in English. Two years or more experience operating tractor trailers, including the spotting of trailers in congested areas. Must have a valid Driver's License, a CDL may be required at certain terminals.
Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Job involves some walking and frequent climbing in and out of the truck cab and on and off trailers. Must have ability to safely climb stairs, ladders, and equipment footholds. Frequent movement between truck cab and yard in all weather conditions. Requires ability to see clearly and safely perform tasks in all lighting conditions, including bright daylight, low light, and nighttime. Must possess ability to work nights and weekends where required.
