Travel Pharmacy Technician - Gardena, CA Soliant Health is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician for a travel contract opportunity in Gardena, CA. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately fill and maintain Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
- Prepare and pound IVs, IVPBs, and TPNs with precision
- Answer telephone calls and provide assistance as needed
- Deliver medications to nursing units and ensure timely and accurate medication distribution
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining efficient operations and medication safety
Skills and Experience Required: - Strong experience making IVs, IVPBs, and TPNs (Required)
- Proficiency in filling Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets (Required)
- Inpatient pharmacy experience (Required)
- Experience with Allscripts/Paragon order entry systems is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent munication skills and the ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
Job Details: - Duration: Approximately 8+ weeks
- Coverage Hours: Variable day and afternoon shifts
