• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360–$1460\n
• Unit: 34-bed Surgical Oncology/Medical-Surgical with continuous telemetry monitoring\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:6\n
• Scrub Color: Navy\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state (required for Texas travel nursing jobs)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
• Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification\n
• Preferred: Chemotherapy certification\n
• Proficiency with MediTech EMR and telemetry equipment (GE Telemetry Monitoring, Welch Allyn Vital Signs)\n
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude\n

\n\nTravel Tele RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy surgical oncology/medical-surgical unit\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, promptly respond to changes in patient condition\n
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy (if certified), and perform both routine and advanced nursing procedures\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and physicians\n
• Accurately document patient care using MediTech EMR\n
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive clinical environment\n
• Participate in unit initiatives and contribute to a positive, team-focused nursing culture\n
