• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1360 - $1460\n
• Unit Size: 26 beds\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:5\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact state)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience\n
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Certification preferred\n
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills\n
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality\n

\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality patient care to Med/Surg patients in a 26-bed hospital unit\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Charge Nurses\n
• Utilize medical equipment such as lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and walkers/canes\n
• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems\n
• Assist with common procedures: TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacement, post-hysterectomy, and gallbladder/appendectomy cases\n
• Support, mentor, and train new nursing staff members\n
• Promote a positive patient experience and contribute to staff satisfaction\n
