This position will be responsible for supporting the end users within the organization by providing daily support. This individual will assist in maintaining technologies implemented in effective working order and ensure system up-time and reliability meets the needs of the company. What You Will Be Doing: Provide second level support for tickets/calls/e-mails from end users within the organization. Logging all incoming calls and inquiries into the ITSM Platform (IT Service Management). Troubleshoot issues by identifying caller and determining problem description. Categorize and Capture tickets in ITSM. Utilize Problem Determination/Analysis Techniques and Available Knowledge Base to Resolve at Minimum 85% of Calls Received. Ability to Accurately Interpret and Fulfill Customer Requests to Achieve Resolution. Manage and prioritize any IT problems, impacting either revenue and/or the guest for quick resolution and pro-actively seek for preventative maintenance. Deploy and Distribute new systems for field users. Inform End Users of any Issues or Outages that may Impact Daily Operations. All other Duties as Needed or Required. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position. Manage and maintain all internal tools such as; mimecast, zix, zoho, Sophos, and any other internal applications. Perform Maintenance on servers to keep them working, patching vulnerabilities whenever needed. Anticipate what issues could possibly come to be, and try to circumvent them to keep the business going. Manage and maintain IT Knowledge Base. Manage domain registrar and update when changes need to be made Research and find solutions when none are known to an issue Travel as needed for the onboarding of new hotels The Ideal Candidate: Associate's degree in computer science of equivalent experience. One to three years in a position responsible for supporting the ongoing operations of IT systems in a Help Desk or Call Center environment. Ability to create policies and procedures and guide Level 1 Help Desk Analyst. Proficiency in Mainstream PC Desktop Applications, and the effective use of Internet Technology and Services. Practical Understanding of PMS, POS and other Enterprise Platforms. Practical Understanding of Current Network Terminology and Fundamentals. Practical Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, including Microsoft Office Suites, IOS and Android. Practical Knowledge of Troubleshooting Computer Hardware and Peripheral Connectivity. Must Have a Passion for Technology, Hospitality and Growing within the Organization. Ability to travel occasionally for the role is required.
