Riverside Medical Clinic is the best place to work, practice medicine, and receive care. Job Summary Coordinates maintenance of PACS, with quality control included. Monitors and resolves issues with patient information, backup programs, and daily error logs. Enforces compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Acts as department liaison with IT/IS for interface and upgrades of computerized connectivity. Qualifications Education and Experience: PACS administrator experience with Fuji Synapse or GE; general Systems Administrator experience is a plus. Must have detailed organizational skills and effective communication skills. Completion of formal computer science courses with certification is preferred. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or equivalent experience. Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation required, with daily travel between facilities. Essential Functions Oversee daily cleanup and resolution of PACS database issues. Manage daily operations of Vidar (film scanning), PACS Cube (CD image burner), and document scanning. Serve as primary contact between IS, Imaging, GE (PACS Vendor), and other stakeholders for troubleshooting and interface management. Understand and monitor facility HIS/RIS systems to optimize PACS integration and troubleshoot issues. Ensure equipment functionality and practice proactive maintenance. Communicate computer usage expectations and develop strategic plans for growth and technology integration. Collaborate with vendors and leadership to develop budgets for PACS initiatives and expansion. Create and maintain remote access for PACS and referring clinicians. Adhere to Radiation Safety and Title 17 standards. Develop and enforce PACS policies and procedures. Compile statistical reports and analyze user feedback for system improvements. Lead future PACS projects, expansions, and implementations. Occasionally serve as backup for other IT support roles. Perform other duties as assigned.
