This is a newly created role with a premier private equity firm that is looking to add a high performer to its finance team. This newly-created role will support the firm's growth with the launch of its newest fund.
The firm is based in the Chevy Chase/Bethesda/Friendship Heights area.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP of Finance, The Tax & Fund Accounting Manager will oversee the entire fund cycle including:
- Capital Calls.
- Preparation of financial statements.
- Distributions.
- Review of tax returns prepared by Big 4 firms.
- Supporting the deal team and investor relations activities.

Qualifications:

BS in Accounting.
CPA.
4-7 years of experience in Big 4/Public accounting.
Experience in tax with a private equity client base is required.

This position offers excellent pay and benefits, including above market incentive compensation. Compensation depends on experience and education, $130-180K per year with additional bonus and benefits.
