Overview: Work and train with the industry's finest professionals! Flatiron's Intern Program provides challenging and rewarding work opportunities for college students majoring in Accounting or a related field. As an Intern, you will be given the opportunity to apply your academic training and skills in a real-world setting. Students will apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and supports preparation of financial reporting with a focus on account reconciliations and any necessary follow up. This position is an in-person postion at our coporate headquaters in Broomfield CO. The intern program run May 19, 2025 - August 2025. What you will be doing: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reconciles bank accounts for assigned companies. Reconciles financial information in detail for balance sheet accounts. Identifies potential reconciling differences for various accounts and works with the team to resolve differences. Compiles and analyzes financial information in order to transact journal entries to the general ledger. Performs intercompany billings for assigned companies and ensures related intercompany accounts are in balance. Maintains knowledge of Companys values and strategic plan. Performs additional assignments per managements direction.
