smartdept. is searching for a Senior Presentation Designer for a med-tech client. The ideal candidate will come with 6+ years of experience. This is a full-time , fully remote , 6-month contract opportunity with the potential to extend or convert. Compensation for this position is expected to be $43/hr - $53/hr depending on experience level and fit.

As a Senior Presentation Designer, you will play a lead role in the strategy, execution, and design management of products and services materials across various media. You are a strategic design thinker who is collaborative and adept at distilling complex ideas into extraordinary visual stories that are on brand and original. You have an acute attention to detail and are passionate about creating beautiful, functional, and innovative products and presentations. You will conceptualize and design solutions from start to completion as well as guide and mentor designer team members.

What You’ll Do:

• Distill complex and abstract concepts into relevant and simple presentations
• Work with business leaders to understand and parse details of vision and strategy
• Build visually engaging presentations, for a variety of audiences, that are intuitive, meaningful, and easy to comprehend
• Build relationships across teams that help elevate visual storytelling initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, internal executives, and designers to turn ideas into professional presentations
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related work experience
  • 6+ years of equivalent presentation design experience
  • A diverse and robust portfolio of compelling visual presentations
  • Advanced experience in PowerPoint and Keynote (mastery is preferred)
  • Advanced experience in Creative Cloud software (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Advanced experience in MS Excel and Word
  • Solid understanding of the use of purposeful animations and motion in presentations
  • Excellent self-management skills; must be able to work independently
  • Experience working in an agency environment and or fast-paced environment
