Job Summary: The QA Lead is responsible for ensuring that software meets quality standards, requirements, and is defect-free. This involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with development teams to prevent defects throughout the software development lifecycle. Location:Linthicum Heights, Maryland, United States Responsibilities:

• Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases (functional, integration, regression, performance).
• Execute manual and automated tests, track defects, and ensure resolution.
• Automate test cases using test automation frameworks and tools.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and operations to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, usability, and accessibility testing.
• Monitor quality metrics and recommend improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Document test results, maintain test artifacts, and audit test coverage.
• Use defect tracking tools and manage the bug lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in software testing / QA.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile / scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD.
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in government / regulated systems (e.g., compliance, accessibility).
• Performance or load testing experience.
• Security / penetration testing knowledge.
• Experience in REST API / integration testing.
• Experience with service virtualization / mocking tools.
