Project and Change Manager

Location: Metro-Providence, RI (Hybrid – onsite as needed, ~monthly)

A Rhode Island–based global insurance company is seeking a Project and Change Manager to support strategic business and technology initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Project and Change Management, this role helps coordinate projects, support change management activities, and ensure effective communication and execution across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project planning, documentation, scheduling, and task management.
• Maintain project plans, risks, issues, and status updates in Workfront.
• Assist with stakeholder communications, meeting preparation, and action tracking.
• Contribute to change management efforts: readiness assessments, communications, training coordination, and adoption tracking.
• Help monitor project budgets, KPIs, and project performance metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support delivery of process, people, and technology changes.
• Participate in post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of project management experience, including large or transformational initiatives.
• 3–5 years of change management experience.
• Experience supporting medium-to-large programs in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with project tools (Workfront, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and effective under tight deadlines.
• Ability to build relationships, influence across teams, and work with executive leadership.

Contract Details

• 12-month contract
• Competitive hourly rate: $80–$85 (W2)
• Metro-Providence, RI (onsite as needed, approximately monthly)
