Part-time Roaming Custodian - Nashville, TN

Locations: Office Building ( Midtown Nashville) & Church (Belmont Area)

Department: Custodial Services – ServiceFM LLC
Reports To: Custodial Supervisor
Employment Type: Part-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Compensation: $20 per hour (no benefits)

Position Summary:

ServiceFM LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Roaming Custodian to join our team, supporting two client locations in Midtown and the Belmont area of Nashville. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in cleanliness, and is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping (wet and dry), dusting, and vacuuming throughout the office building and church areas, including the rectory, break rooms, and meeting spaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, meeting rooms, and other shared areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and remove debris from floors and surrounding exterior areas.
• Clean interior windows and doors.
• Respond promptly and professionally to cleaning requests or urgent custodial needs.
• Secure all buildings at the end of each shift, including managing the burglar alarm system and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Provide occasional support for evening or weekend cleaning as needed.

• Midtown Nashville Office:
  Evening Shifts – 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM
  • Monday & Thursday or Tuesday & Friday (4 hrs each)
    
• Belmont Area (Church Rectory/Offices):
  Day Shift – Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (7 hrs)
  (includes 30-minute unpaid break)

Additional hours may be available based on scheduling needs and your availability.

• Prior custodial/janitorial experience required.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at different locations per schedule (potential multiple-site travel in one day).
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and availability for evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
• Must pass a background check (for church environments).
• Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or with a team.
• Comfortable using smartphones or devices for time tracking and assignments.

• Paid Time Off (PTO) is available only to employees who consistently work at least 20 hours per week.
