Full-Time Nanny Position in Danbury, CT
(Live In or Live Out)


We're seeking a reliable, caring, and organized full-time nanny to help support our family in Danbury, CT. This role will primarily involve care for our 5/6-year-old son, including school pick-up, homework help, and engaging activities. Ideal candidates will be proactive, empathetic, and able to maintain a clean, organized home environment. Someone who will provide good structure but not be too regimented - firm but rational. Not "too nice".


Responsibilities:

• Pick up son from school, transport him to activities, and assist with homework.
• Engage in age-appropriate play, both indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain cleanliness in key areas: kitchen, pantry, and bathrooms.
• Handle laundry duties and make beds each morning.
• Prepare dinner four nights per week (plus light lunch prep if parents are working from home).
• Complete small errands such as UPS drop-offs and occasional grocery runs.
• Manage dishwashing, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and sweeping as needed.
• Organize sheets, towels, and blanket closets to ensure they are neat and accessible.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children and supporting their routines.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive housekeeping abilities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Energetic and able to keep up with a lively 5/6-year-old.
• Empathetic yet firm approach to discipline.
• Driving required, car can be provided

$30-$35 per hour Household Staffing
