Job Overview:

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following: Customer service and client direction for fishing trips, watersports sessions, as well of all Water Adventure Events. Completes boat maintenance as well as general cleaning of boats used for water sports, fishing, and the houseboat. Provide support for all Water Adventures events, including Summer Camps, Scout Fishing, after school Fishing Clubs, and Overnight Family Camping. Provides basic equipment maintenance, cleaning, bait collection, and general support of guides, managers, and all co-workers involved with the Water Adventures at Water Valley and The Beach at Raindance Lake. 

Essential Job Functions

• Knowledge of all water sports activities and fishing guide trips for Water Adventures. 
• Report and document any safety issues to the Water Adventures Manager.
  • Monitor weather and conditions and react appropriately to include evacuation of beaches and lakes, helping participants seeking covered shelter and verifying conditions are safe prior to allowing swimmers and guests to return to beaches and lakes.
  • Notify Water Adventure managers when there is a need for equipment, drinks, snacks, and general supplies for all Fishing Guide and Events.
• Perform general cleaning tasks on the boats before and after trips have taken place.
  • Aid guides and managers in the general maintenance issues of the marina boats and all equipment utilized.
• Basic cleaning and maintenance of all tackle and water sports equipment. 
• Bait collection duties and all prep are required for fishing and water sports trips. 
• Basic cleanup of Water Adventure proper and watersport areas and the reporting of any

issues or safety hazards to management.

• Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the Water Adventures at Water Valley.
• Work as a team player with other co-workers, guides, and in conjunction with other

departments as needed.

• Assist managers in organizing events for all Water Adventures events.

Skills/knowledge Required: 

• General water sports understanding. 
• General fishing experience
• Knowledge of tackle used in warm water fisheries is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • First Aid CPR/AED certification is desirable.

Job Specifications:   

• Expected Pay Range: $17-$19 per hour.
• Shift type: Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays
