Job Description

We're looking for a Clinical Therapist to join our team and provide essential clinical services to child victims and their loved ones.

In this role, you will provide individual, sibling, and family counseling in a culturally sensitive manner. You'll manage a caseload of 22–25 patients, with a focus on direct client services, including clinical assessments, treatment planning, and therapy. You will also facilitate psychoeducational groups, provide parent education, and offer case management and child advocacy services.

The Work You’ll Do
• Provide trauma-informed care, clinical intervention, and therapeutic services
• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based practices
• Provide crisis counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Conduct case management and coordinate with child protective services and community partners
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive child advocacy
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per regulatory standards
• Participate in clinical trainings, case reviews, and team meetings
• Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines, licensing requirements, and mandatory reporting laws
• Contribute to a positive, mission-focused workplace culture committed to child safety and healing

What You Bring – Required

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Active independent license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) through the state Board of Behavioral Health Examiners or Board of Psychologist Examiners.
  • 3+ years of experience providing mental health counseling to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Ability to pass DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index background checks.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in high-stress situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with timely and accurate documentation.
  • Professional, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning, including 24 hours of continuing education annually.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Typical schedule: 8am-5pm

• In-person

• May require occasional on-call or adjusted hours based on client needs
