We are seeking an Entry-Level Network Engineer to join our managed services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-line technical support for network issues. You will work closely with senior network engineers and other teams to resolve basic network problems and assist with routine network operations. Responsibilities:

• Triage and manage tickets escalated to the networking team, ensuring issues are prioritized and addressed promptly.
• Provide remote troubleshooting assistance to customers for network issues over the phone.
• Collaborate with other teams and customers to identify and resolve network issues.
• Assist in triaging wireless networking problems and work towards their resolution.
• Participate in maintaining and updating network documentation, including diagrams and technical notes.
• Support basic network maintenance tasks such as monitoring network performance and reporting any anomalies.
• Occasionally travel for on-site network installations or troubleshooting (may include long distance and overnight travel).
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• Either possess or be willing to obtain Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification within 6 months of employment.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and subnetting.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies is a plus but not required.
• Strong desire to learn and develop new networking skills.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support activities at customers' sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any prior experience or internships in IT support or networking is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of network hardware such as switches and routers is an advantage.
