Junior Graphic Designer (Hybrid/Remote - Part-Time)

We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team! This part-time, hybrid/remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse design projects while developing your skills in broadcast and digital media.
About the Role
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll play a key role in supporting our Marketing team by creating engaging graphics for television, social media, and web platforms. From designing logos and animations to developing full graphic packages for TV programs, you'll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
What You'll Do
Design and generate graphics for television, social media, and digital platforms.
Create logos, animations, and full graphic packages (including full-page designs, lower thirds, backgrounds, and on-screen graphics).
Develop assets for web and social media promotion.
Learn about video production and the role of graphic design in broadcast media.
What You Bring
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Strong design, layout, and typography skills.
Experience designing for both print and digital media.
Understanding of resolutions, formats, and pre-print processes.
Ability to create graphics tailored for social media platforms.
Animation skills in After Effects (preferred).
Familiarity with Dreamweaver.
Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro preferred).
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Bonus Points If You Have:
A background in Marketing or Graphic Design.
Experience with 3D design tools.
Knowledge of the Bronx or local culture.
Bilingual skills (Spanish/English preferred).
Job Details
Part-time (20-24 hours per week).
$18.00 per hour.
