This full-time position, reporting to the Sr. Conflicts Manager and ultimately to the Conflicts Counsel, offers the opportunity to become a valued member of BRG's dynamic legal team. The role is based out of BRG’s Chicago, DC, or New York office, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence three days per week. As an hourly position, it is eligible for overtime compensation. Responsibilities include: Research corporate affiliations of clients and parties using Capital IQ and Hoover's/D&B, and cross-reference information using the internet. Perform routine conflicts of interest searches in Intapp, identify and validate party information, determine search criteria, run searches, and analyze results according to the policies of the General Counsel's Office. Verify that all conflicts reports are complete, accurate, and adhere to standards. Assist the legal team and conflicts manager as needed. Maintain data in Intapp by updating client/matter information. Ensure standards of searching and analysis are met for all requests. Be available for urgent matters, including evenings and weekends. Contribute to process, procedure, and technology improvements. Maintain and update the conflicts database. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree required. 1-3 years of experience in risk management, research, or related fields preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Intapp, Elite, Hoover's/D&B, research software, and iManage. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact professionally at all levels. Knowledge of conflicts-of-interest procedures is preferred; training will be provided. Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000. Candidate must verify legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
