DiNardo Sports Performance in Lexington, KY is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time position of Sports Performance Coach, with potential to reach full-time status. All applicants must be career-oriented in their field and driven to further educate themselves to improve their abilities in the Sports Performance/Strength & Conditioning field.

Job Description

As a Sports Performance Coach for DiNardo Sports Performance, responsibilities would include, but not limited to:

· Implementation of Long Term Athletic Development Programs for youth athletes ages 5 – 12

· Implementation of Strength & Conditioning / Speed Programs for middle, high school & college athletes

· Implementation of Adult Fitness Programs for adults of all ages

· Design and implement personal fitness programs for clients

· Assist in increasing and promoting sports performance programs and services

· Responsible for building rapport and communicating with parents of the athletes trained

· Schedule and give educational seminars when necessary

· Assist in marketing through all mediums, especially social media

· Assist in administrative duties and upkeep of facility

Job Requirements

· Degree in exercise science or a related field is required

· NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist is preferred

· Athletic participation in sports in the past is preferred

· Knowledge in nutrition for athletes is preferred

· This position requires a highly motivated, dedicated, dependable individual, who is willing to work daytime, weekend and evening hours.

· Must possess the passion for coaching and mentoring youth athletes.

· Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.

· Must demonstrate firm commitment to program excellence, its athletes, clients, and its mission.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Social Media applications

· Qualified candidate will be subject to a background check
