Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our team in California. This is a long-term contract position that combines remote work flexibility with occasional in-office meetings. The ideal candidate will bring a consultative approach to collaborating with leadership teams, facilitating workgroups, and driving compensation-based proposals for physician leaders. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to effectively manage HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and facilitate workgroups with physician leaders to address organizational needs and develop actionable solutions.
• Design and deliver impactful presentations using PowerPoint, incorporating data sets from Excel to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to assist in creating compensation-based proposals for physician leaders.
• Provide expert consultation to management and employees on HR issues, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and objectives.
• Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives, such as salary reviews, workforce planning, and organizational changes.
• Coach and guide leadership teams on HR strategies to enhance employee engagement and drive business success.
• Analyze and interpret HR data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies while addressing employee relations issues effectively.
• Utilize systems such as PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office to streamline HR processes and reporting.
• Contribute to the development and execution of IT HR strategic roadmap plans, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-6 years of consulting experience in HR or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
• Strong consultative skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities, with experience in coaching and influencing stakeholders.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives.
• Strategic and tactical problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Flexibility to work remotely while being local to the Southern California area for occasional in-office meetings.
