5 ARNP s-1 in each Hospital (The Cover every weekend and Daytime Call)
There is a dedicated team at each Admitting Hospital-physician,RN and Social worker
Call Schedule: 1 in 4 Current Patient volume: 100 office visits per month and approximately 5000 Hospital consults per year. Consults in the evening are-phone consults, on weekends very rare to go to hospital. Types of procedures physician should expect to do: Prescribe medications, manage pain and symptoms, Coordinate team and case plan, make referrals for psychosocial support, evaluate and refer to complimentary alternative medicine i.e. Acupuncture. Percentage of caseload breakdown: 95% Oncology, 5% other i.e. COPD-Life threatening illness.
Requirements: Palliative Care training is required.
