Job Description A manufacturing company specializing in premium labels is seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to assist in the rewinding department. This role requires flexibility to work on weekends and weekdays as needed. Responsibilities Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures. Attain and maintain all defined job objectives related to planning and executing jobs and quick changes. Assist in all external make-ready operations in preparation for changeover activities. Perform external clean-up activities following changeover. Clean ink pans and ancillary equipment. Strip plates from cylinders. Locate dies to and from the press. Work with the press operator to view labels using a strobe light. Comply with quality assurance specifications of the customer. Complete quality assurance sheets and associated documentation. Maintain cleanliness of machinery and organization of the workspace. Work overtime when needed and as assigned. Perform related duties as assigned. Essential Skills At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Bilingual in Spanish. Ability to communicate and interact well with others, both verbally and in written form. Capability to read and understand a job ticket. Proficiency in reading a ruler and understanding measurements. Correctable vision to 20/20. Ability to differentiate colors. Competency in inputting data into a computer. Strong team player with a high sense of urgency for on-time completion of tasks. Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions. Physical ability to stand and move around the press area for long periods of time. Additional Skills & Qualifications Print shop experience is helpful but not required. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment. Assertive and solution-focused. Why Work Here? The role involves physical activity, including standing for long periods, frequent walking, and occasionally climbing or balancing. Shifts include Swing (1PM - 9:30PM, Monday-Friday) and Night (9PM - 5:30AM, Sunday-Thursday). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.65 - $20.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
