Foreman
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to oversee daily operations on commercial construction sites. The Foreman will lead and coordinate on-site crews, ensure project schedules and quality standards are met, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. This role is pivotal in delivering projects on time and within budget while upholding the company’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring work aligns with project plans and specifications.
Coordinate and direct site crews, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project milestones.
Monitor site progress and quality, resolving issues to minimize delays or rework.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Communicate regularly with the Project Manager, providing updates on project status, labor, and materials.
Maintain and review daily logs, reports, and schedules.
Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting collaboration and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Foreman in commercial construction, with a track record of successfully completed projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe worksite.
Proficiency in using construction management software and tools is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
