Job Title: Firewatch

Pay Range: $17. per Hr
What’s the Job?
This position focuses on preventing fires during hot work activities by monitoring the work area for hazards, ensuring the safety of personnel, and responding to emergencies. Fire watchers are responsible for identifying potential fire risks, like sparks or flammable materials, and ensuring that safety precautions are followed. They must also be prepared to sound alarms, alert emergency services, and use fire-extinguishing equipment if necessary.
Employee will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals working in confined spaces by monitoring conditions, preventing unauthorized entry, and acting as a safety watch during entry operations. They must have knowledge of the specific hazards associated with the confined space and be able to recognize potential dangers, ensuring a safe work environment.
