About the Role

The organization is seeking a passionate and visionary Executive Director to lead our global nonprofit dedicated to empowering and supporting patients with histiocytic disorders. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overarching leadership and management of the organization, driving strategic initiatives, and serving as our primary spokesperson. We require a dynamic advocate with a proven history in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community engagement.

As the Executive Director, you will craft and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, manage financial stewardship to ensure sustainability, and maintain high-quality programs that effectively support both the patient and medical communities. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare management, public health, or nonprofit administration.

  • Strong background in grant writing, donor relations, and innovative fundraising strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire and mobilize a dedicated team.
  • Experience in advocacy, particularly in the rare disease or chronic health condition sectors.
  • Deep commitment to the challenges faced by patients and their families.
  • Operational excellence, emotional intelligence, and proficiency in relevant technologies.
