Position Overview :
As an Associate Attorney specializing in Criminal Defense, you will have the ability to handle cases from intake to completion, experience drafting legal pleadings and correspondence, and extensive trial experience advocating for clients in court, and offering legal counsel. Your dedication to justice, fairness, and ethical practice will have a profound impact on your clients' lives. With steadfast commitment, you will be able to transform countless lives and make a significant impact in the criminal justice system. You will receive top-notch mentorship and extensive personalized training from a Managing Attorney. Candidates with an interest in other areas of law, such as Family Law, are encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities :
1. Represent clients in El Paso County and surrounding areas.
2. Conduct thorough case research to identify strengths and weaknesses.
3. Engage in plea negotiations, trial preparations, and legal drafting.
4. Stay updated on the latest legal trends and precedents.
Qualifications :
1. J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
2. License to practice law in Colorado.
3. 2-5 years of criminal trial experience.
4. Strong analytical, communication, and courtroom skills.
5. A passion for criminal defense and a commitment to client advocacy.
What We Offer :
1. Competitive base salary, ranging from $100,000-$120,000 to commensurate with experience.
2. Attractive bonus structure. Top producers can expect to earn $175,000+ with bonuses.
