PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a meticulous and skilled Content Editor/Proofreader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing, proofreading, and ensuring the accuracy and clarity of various types of content, including medical documents, reports, marketing materials, and web content. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style, and is capable of maintaining the highest level of accuracy in all documents while adhering to the company’s tone and style guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and edit content for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and consistency.

• Proofread various types of documents, including medical reports, marketing materials, patient communications, and web content.

• Ensure all content adheres to company guidelines, brand voice, and relevant medical regulations.

• Verify facts, check citations, and ensure accuracy in terminology, especially medical terms.

• Collaborate with the writing and marketing teams to ensure clear, compelling, and error-free communication.

• Provide constructive feedback to writers and contribute to the improvement of content quality.

• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.

• Format documents as needed to align with internal standards and style guides.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when working with sensitive medical content.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Content Editor, Proofreader, or similar role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.

• Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare content is a plus.

• Proficient in using editing tools and software such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and editing platforms like Grammarly.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide feedback constructively.

• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of style guides such as AP, AMA, or Chicago Manual of Style is an asset.
