Salary: Determined based on experience, local wages, and nonprofit industry rates.
This is a fully in-person position with no opportunities for remote work.
The Impact of This Position: Plays a crucial role in raising awareness about domestic violence, promoting prevention, and fostering community understanding. By educating the public and training professionalssuch as healthcare workers, educators, and law enforcementthe advocate equips individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to identify and respond to abuse effectively. This role also strengthens community partnerships, advocates for systemic change, and amplifies the voices of survivors, creating a safer and more supportive environment for those impacted by domestic violence.
