About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and innovative leader with a proven track record in providing successful growth strategies, particularly within the banking sector. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including reporting, planning, supervision, and investments. This senior role involves guiding the organization's financial area toward growth and expansion, as well as working closely with the Executive Team on forecasting, budgeting, and preparing for the next level of development. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a CPA designation is also preferred. A minimum of 7 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required, with a strong preference for candidates with extensive experience in a bank with at least $5B in assets. The role demands proficiency in PC software, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills. The CFO will be expected to work well under pressure, set priorities, meet deadlines, and resolve complex financial problems. Responsibilities also include supervising financial staff, maintaining knowledge of current financial regulations, and leading staff training and development in financial management.
