Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide anesthesia care for various surgical procedures including ENT, general surgery, OB, orthopedics, and pediatric cases in hospital and surgery center settings. The role involves working 12-hour variable shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays without call responsibilities, supporting multiple operating rooms and treatment areas. CRNAs operate within a medically supervised care team model, performing 3-4 anesthetic cases per shift across diverse surgical specialties.

We have multiple new CRNA needs in Yakima, WA.

Schedule Details

Days, nights, and weekends

12-hour shift, 7pm - 7am (night shifts)

• Shift Schedule: Variable depends on gap in coverage - 8h, 10h & 12h day/night shifts. 12h shifts on Weekends & Holidays.
• Call Schedule: CRNAs do not have call; all shifts are staffed at the hospital.
• Weekend coverage:
• Sat & Sun (Holidays too)
• x2 rooms at 12hrs each for day
• x1 OB 12hrs day shift
• x1 12hrs night shift

• Case mix includes, ENT, general surgery, GI Endoscopy, GYN, podiatry, OB, orthopedics, podiatry, (healthy) pediatric cases, robotic procedures, urology and vascular (no CT or Neuro).
• The following types of surgery will be expected to be performed at this facility: Cardiac, Complete ortho, OB, Pediatric, Regional, Thoracic
• Not doing: Complex vascular, head spine, neuro
• Average cases per day: 40-45 general anesthetic cases per day overall, 3-4 cases per day per CRNA
• Medically supervised, care team model.
• CRNAs support 7 ORs in the main Surgery department
• 4 ORs at the adjacent Surgi-Center
• 2 GI treatment rooms
• 1 Bronchoscopy room and 1 Cath lab
• No new grads
