Buffer General Labor Manufacturing
2nd shift (4 10 hours days)
$19.80
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Responsible for unskilled production work on a production line BUFFING
Follows instructions given by production forepersons
Monitors production line
Counts out and sort material
Packs materials into cartons
Applies appropriate labels to cartons based on contents
Ensures that workstation is kept in clean and safe condition
Follows safety guidelines and regulations
Performs other related duties assigned
Required Skills/ Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Education/ Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
On-the-job training provided
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing
Must wear required hearing and eye protection and able to lift 50 lbs. at a time
Area can be dusty from buffing
