A Bricks 4 Kidz After-School Teacher will lead hands-on STEM-based classes for children, focusing on building with LEGO bricks and teaching concepts related to the subject matter. A successful candidate is passionate about working with kids, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is creative and enthusiastic about teaching science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun, engaging way. Common roles include Enrichment Instructor and Technology Instructor, with job duties centered on delivering curriculum and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities 

• Lead and teach STEM-based lessons using LEGO bricks, motors, and other robotics and coding kits. 
• Instruct children on computer programming, logic, and troubleshooting. 
• Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking through hands-on projects. 
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for children, often ages 6-12. 
• Manage classroom dynamics and ensure a fun and educational experience. 

Ideal candidate qualifications 

• Passion for working with children: A genuine interest in teaching and mentoring young students. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to connect with children and explain complex concepts clearly. 
• Enthusiasm and creativity: A creative personality and a passion for building, coding, and robotics. 
• Interest in STEM: Familiarity with concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is a plus. 
• Flexibility: The ability to work with a flexible schedule, as many roles are part-time and involve after-school hours or camps

You will be traveling to different locations, Elementary Schools so transportation & vaild drivers license is a MUST.
