Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized After Hours Dispatcher to join our after-hours team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers needing emergency service after regular business hours. You'll handle incoming calls, schedule service appointments, and communicate with on-call technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient response.

What You’ll Do

• Answer inbound service calls from customers during evening, overnight, and weekend hours
• Evaluate customer needs and determine the appropriate level of response
• Dispatch on-call technicians for HVAC, plumbing, or electrical emergencies
• Communicate clearly with both customers and field staff to set expectations and timelines
• Enter and update call details in our system accurately and in real time
• Follow company procedures for scheduling, escalation, and service protocols
• Monitor technician status and job progress throughout the night
• Handle high-stress situations with professionalism and a calm demeanor
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous dispatch, call center, or customer service experience required
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
• Comfortable working with scheduling or dispatching software
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Must have reliable internet access and the ability to work from home if needed
• Availability for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services is a plus
