Position Description

This position will be required to perform tasks involving aerial and ground electric work at construction/service sites, operate aerial truck and other associated equipment and handle electrical line components.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safety first.
• Maintain and repair overhead distribution or transmission lines.
• String new wire or maintain old wire.
• Install and maintain insulators, transformers and other equipment.
• Install and maintain Underground Distribution Systems.
• Set up service for customers; install, connect, test or adjust equipment.
• Ability to interact with and communicate well with superintendent, area managers, co-workers and customers.
• Aptitude for training and skills transfer to develop individual team members.

Position Requirements

• Must have Journeyman certification
• At least 3 years previous experience as Journeyman
• Drivers license is required, with clean driving record.
• Valid CDL-A is strongly required.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
