As an Accounting Intern, you will work within the corporate accounting team supporting multiple organizations. This position is in-office within our Deerfield Beach, FL headquarters location.

THE POSITION

Interns will apply their knowledge of accounting and finance to real-world financial modeling, analysis, and reporting with our team. We are a fast-paced environment and will present you with a wide range of challenges and opportunities. We build our success around exceptional people.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Provide general accounting support.
• Provide support for annual budgeting process.
• Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects.
• Assist with financial modeling.
• Prepare month end/quarterly financial analysis for management.
• Data Entry
• Help maintain systems, software and become proficient on BrandStar hardware and software toolsets.
• Project work enabling you to learn more about accounting and office operations.

Experience and Skills

• Accounting, Finance or related major - Accounting I & II must already be completed with passing grade.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Self-Motivated with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Competent to learn new software technology.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Highly professional and has a positive attitude.
