AgReserves, Inc is seeking an enthusiastic and inquisitive
Accounting & Finance Interns ! The Intern will be assigned to a Controller and support the team with tasks related to AR, AP, payroll processing, and data integrity. A successful candidate takes initiative to understand the accounting function, works with a sense of urgency, and is proactive with assisting in other accounting-related projects.
Summer 2025 Internships are offered at the following offices:

Berberian Nut Company (Chico, CA),
South Valley Farms (Wasco, CA),
Deseret Cattle & Citrus (St. Cloud, FL),
Deseret Cattle & Timber (Wewahitchka, FL),
Canyon Falls Farm (American Falls, ID),
Southern Hills Orchards (Leesburg, GA),
Corporate Office (Salt Lake City, UT).
Responsibilities :
- Perform ad hoc account analysis and reports.
- Create journal entries for CIP fringe and P-card sales tax accrual monthly.
- Prepare monthly fuel and balance sheet account reconciliation.
- Assist in fixed asset additions, disposals, transfers and changes, and verifications.
- Analyze equipment billing rates.
- Enter data accurately and promptly into the appropriate business systems .
- Learn the department and company's culture and expectations.
- Actively participate and engage during trainings, group conversations, and meetings.
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools with aptitude for learning new computer software.
- Experience with ERP systems and/or database queries helpful.
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
- Self-motivated, high level of integrity and work ethic, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ag or farming background a plus but not required.
- This is an in-person internship - candidates must be willing and able to work at the assigned office daily, Monday-Friday during standard work hours. No remote work options are available for this position.
- Provide own transportation to get to the office reliably and accommodate extended work hours occasionally to meet critical deadlines per business needs.
