We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work in a close-knit office environment, contributing to essential accounting functions that support the organization’s operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification and timely payments.

• Manage accounts receivable (AR) tasks, such as tracking receivables and ensuring proper collections.

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

• Reconcile bank statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure it aligns with financial reporting standards.

• Utilize QuickBooks to record transactions and generate financial reports.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.

• Collaborate with team members in a small office setting to address financial concerns and improve workflows.

• Proven experience in accounting, specifically in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
• Strong understanding of journal entries and bank reconciliation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Solid communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
