Pur Noire Wines is a premium wine brand with a motto of delivering ultra-premium wine and unforgettable experiences. Located in the central business district and within walking distance of the Theater District, the Pur Noire Urban Winery & Tasting Room is downtown Houstons only winery tasting room.

If hired, you will be responsible for selling our wines to restaurant and bar partners. You will also join our tasting room staff in conducting wine tastings for our customers. The ideal candidate will be friendly, reliable, and have experience selling wine to retailers. WSET Level 2 or an equivalent certificate is preferred but all employees will receive training.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine and people. This person would want to build a career in the wine industry and grow with our rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities Include:

Cold Calling and B2B Sales

Guided Wine Tastings

Presenting Wines

Selling the Pur Noire Brand

Special Events

Payment Processing

Inventory Recording

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

1 year of Sales Experience

WSET 2, or 1 year of experience working with wine distributors.

Compensation

You will receive a base pay of at least $14 an hour or more depending on your experience. You will also receive a commission on every case of wine that you sell to a new retailer. During the hours spent in our tasting room, you will receive, tips, and commission on wine sales. Our associates and sales representatives average between $20 - $26 per hour in total compensation.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
