The Wilmington Street Team Partnership Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing various community-focused initiatives. This role involves organizing pop-up events, managing hub updates, overseeing Narcan inventory and ordering, and coordinating community feedings, and community engagement.

Since the Wilmington Street Team Partnership Coordinator is the overseer of the Street Team partnership, they should have many skills relating to organization, outreach, public engagement, and management. Some skills they should are:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development).
  • Proven experience in community outreach, event planning, and inventory management.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Roles and responsibilities:
Pop-Up Events:

  • Plan, organize, and execute pop-up events to engage the community
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and volunteers to ensure successful event execution
  • Promote events through various channels to maximize community participation.
Hub Updates and Management:
  • Oversee the management and updates of the community hub.
  • Ensure the hub is well-maintained, welcoming, and equipped with necessary resources.
  • Implement improvements based on community feedback and needs.
Narcan Inventory, Ordering, and Management:
  • Manage the inventory of Narcan, always ensuring adequate supply.
  • Oversee the ordering process and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Train staff and volunteers on the proper use and distribution of Narcan.
Community Feedings:
  • Organize and oversee community feeding programs.
  • Coordinate with food suppliers and volunteers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure the meals provided meet the nutritional needs of the community members.
Outreach:
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to connect with the community.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Organize, manage, and facilitate community walks.
Community Engagement:
  • Meet with community members in person or in the office to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Foster positive relationships and build trust within the community.
Additional Duties:
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with local organizations, stakeholders, and partners to enhance program offerings.
  • Program Evaluation: Collect and analyze feedback from participants to continually improve the program.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development).
  • Proven experience in community outreach, event planning, and inventory management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data management and reporting.
