Job Description:

Scope – Purpose of the position

The Warehouse Operations Manager supervises daily operations including inventory accuracy, quality & control, space management and perfect order fulfillment at the warehouses. This position ensures that goods are efficiently, accurately and cost-effectively stored, that orders are prepared in full and on time for final distribution. The Warehouse Operations Manager also develops and oversees procedures for receiving, storing and managing inventory, and works alongside warehouses and within Supply Chain divisions to ensure a maximum service level while optimizing costs. This leadership position promotes a 100% mentality, building a team that is focused on continuous improvement in both process and outcome.

Reporting: Logistics Division Manager

Responsibilities:

- Manages a team of Warehouse Operations Coordinator(s)

- Ensures on time, efficient and cost-effective warehouse operations: receiving, storage, order preparation

- Ensures healthy inventory at all 3PLs including receiving, storage and stock rotation

- Manages inventory quality holds

- Manages time constricted traceability exercises

- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data in ERP system

- Oversees all aspects of order preparation and readiness to ship, including 3PLs labor, schedule and inventory

- Responsible for Warehouse and Chep P&Ls: monitors cost and identifies opportunities for cost savings

- Manages relationships with warehouses and manage their performance via score cards

- Collaborates with other departments to ensure warehouse operations’ needs are met

- Develops and maintains warehouse operations performance metrics and reports, and use data to identify areas for improvement

- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to warehouse operations management

- Provides valuable insights into Warehouse Operations success, pain points, and expectations within the Logistics Division

- Promotes a 100% mentality, building a team that is focused on continuous improvement in both processes and outcomes

In addition to the specific duties outlined, you may be required to perform other tasks and responsibilities as deemed necessary by your manager. These tasks will be relevant to your role and within the scope of your area of expertise.

Requirements:

- Positive attitude!

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Warehouse/Transportation/Logistics Management, including Team Management.

- Strong customer analytical, attention to detail, solution-oriented mindset while maintaining great interpersonal skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to quickly shift priorities in a fast-paced environment and strong problem-solving skills

- Multi-tasker and independent thinker

- Excellent knowledge of Power Point and Excel. Excel level required: able to process large quantities of data using spreadsheets, graphs, data tables, calculations, and automation to produce results

- Experience with ERP system required

- Fluent English and Spanish, written and oral. French is a plus.
