The Opportunity The VP Global Financial Communications is a strategic communications leader responsible for shaping and delivering the company's financial narrative to external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, media, regulators, and employees. How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future: Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the company's global financial communications strategy in alignment with corporate strategy and investor relations objectives. Serve as a senior advisor to the CEO, CFO, and executive team on financial communications, disclosure practices, and reputation management. Enhance and build financial communications with a focus on engagement of generalist investors through owned, earned, and social media channels. External Communications Lead messaging development for quarterly earnings announcements, analyst calls, annual reports, investor days, and financial press releases. Manage relationships with financial media, ensuring accurate and consistent representation of the company's financial performance and strategy. Partner with Investor Relations to ensure alignment between investor messaging and broader corporate communications. Internal Communications Translate complex financial performance into clear, accessible messaging for employees to build engagement and understanding of the company's results and strategy. Partner with HR and internal communications to cascade financial results and strategy to global teams. Content Development & Oversight Oversee preparation of executive scripts, Q&A documents, financial fact sheets, and investor presentation materials. Drive consistency and clarity across all financial narratives, ensuring compliance with disclosure regulations. Reputation & Issues Management Anticipate, monitor, and respond to market and media sentiment on financial issues. Support executive leadership during crisis or market-sensitive situations requiring financial disclosure or clarification. What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications): 15+ years of experience in financial communications, investor relations, corporate communications, or related fields within financial services or a global publicly traded company. Proven track record leading financial communications at scale, ideally within the insurance, financial services, or related industry. Strong understanding of capital markets, financial statements, SEC reporting requirements, and corporate governance. Exceptional writing, messaging, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information. Executive presence with experience coaching and preparing senior leaders for external communications. Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Investor Relations, and senior leadership. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Finance, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). The expected salary range for this position is $213,200 - $284,300.
