Job Details Video & Animation Editor Location: McLean, VA, US Work Model: Hybrid (remote work available) Job Number: R0225685 Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Part-time Base pay range: $53,000.00/yr - $108,000.00/yr Overview Produce graphic designs for print and electronic communications, including promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials. Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into polished, high-quality videos. Integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design to enhance video content. Collaborate with creative teams and internal stakeholders to understand project scope and deliver on the vision. Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel. Manage and organize video files to ensure a smooth workflow. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees. Key Responsibilities Produce graphic designs and multimedia content for various media outlets Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos Integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design Collaborate with teams to understand project scope and deliver on vision Maintain brand consistency across all videos Organize and manage video files for efficient workflow Contribute to solutions for moderate-complexity problems Work independently with some guidance; may mentor junior staff Due to facility requirements, U.S. citizenship is required Qualifications Basic Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a video editor Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and After Effects Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations and incorporating video Ability to present a portfolio of video projects Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree Additional Qualifications Experience with proposal graphics Attention to detail with strong aesthetics Excellent communication and collaboration skills Compensation & Benefits Compensation and benefits include health, life, disability, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. Eligibility varies by full-time/part-time status and hours worked. The projected compensation range is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
