We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician who is interested in community health and working in a rural setting tojoin our team in Oregon. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing immediate medical care and treatment to patients in an urgent care setting, ensuring they receive high-quality and timely medical attention.
Schedule: 40 hours/week; 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts/7 days a week.
Compensation: $277,745
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
Active medical license in the state of Oregon (OR).
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urgent Care or Family Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions and injuries in an urgent care setting.
Perform physical examinations and assessments to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, blood work, and EKGs.
Prescribe medications and provide referrals to specialists as needed.
Administer minor procedures, wound care, and basic suturing when required.
Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient care.
