UPS / DC Battery Installation Technician

Pay: $16.00 – $28.00/hour (based on experience)
Full-Time | Travel Required | All Travel Costs Paid

Constant Power Technologies (CPT)is growing and looking for reliable  Battery Installation Technicians to join our team. In this role, you’ll travel to customer sites nationwide to assist with  UPS and DC battery removal, installation, testing, and preventative maintenance in environments such as data centers, mines, telecom facilities, and utilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on technical work, traveling, and working on a team.

What You’ll Do

• Travel with a team to customer sites to  remove, install, and test UPS/DC batteries
• Perform  battery testing, site audits, and preventive maintenance
• Assist with  tool management, organization, audits, and equipment handling
• Help load/unload trucks using pallet jacks or walkies
• Keep work trucks and tools clean and organized
• Follow instructions from Lead Technicians and communicate any issues
• Complete other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to  lift 50 lbs routinely and  push/pull 100 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Basic hand tool knowledge
• Able/willing to  travel frequently (flights, hotels, per diem provided)
• Comfortable using a cell phone to manage travel details
• Basic Windows knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Electrical experience is a plus
• Must pass a background check

What We Offer

• Hourly pay: $16–$28/hr (higher pay for experienced DC Power Technicians)
• Full-time work with varying schedules depending on job sites
• Travel per diem for food, rides, and airport parking
• All flights and housing paid for and arranged by CPT
• Most travel is Mon–Fri with return home on weekends (varies by job)
