\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Every other holiday requirement or as needed based on unit needs
\n• Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
\n• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
\n• Driver's license required at submittal
\n• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
\n• Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit facilities
\n• Navy blue scrub color requirement
\n• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
\n• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
\n• Manager creates schedule based on unit needs
\n• Work in 34-bed Med Surg ICU with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-2 ICU
\n• Care for adults and pediatric patients over 15 years old
\n• Manage patients with respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, and post-surgical patients
\n• Required to titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips
\n• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips using Draeger heart monitoring system
\n• Work with various equipment including ventilators, CVPs, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, and ICP monitoring
\n• Charge nurse available on each shift and attends rapid response teams and codes
\n• Use EPIC charting system
