Are you a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
🔹 Active NYS LPN License
🔹 BLS Certification (must be through AHA or RQI )
🔹 1+ year of LPN experience
🔹 Ability to work weekend & holiday rotations
The LPN must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit. The individual must possess knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and have the ability to assess and interpret data reflective of a patient's condition. They will use this information to determine and provide age-specific care needed for adult and geriatric patients .
The LPN provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents, following established policies and procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse . They will collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary teams , maintaining a high level of clinical expertise through continuing education and in-service training .
The LPN must have the ability to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to geriatric residents in a safe and supportive environment .
