ProKatchers is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift:

Day shift with 1-2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend per month / 

Day Shift with On-Call Rotation (Weeknights, Weekends and Holidays)

Work Experience:

• Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR and Left Atrial Appendage Closure


• Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies. 


• Prepares patient and equipment for utilization of sterile technique. 


• After procedure, prepares equipment/supplies for sterilization.


• Monitors and records all procedural data and maintains procedural event logs.


• Provides patient comfort while familiarizing him/her with the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure. 


• Applies the necessary monitors and prepares access site(s) including the necessary sterile drapes.


• When scrubbing into a procedure, uses sterile and aseptic technique as required for infection prevention.


• Advocates for radiation safety and protection for self and coworkers. 


• Wears personal radiation dosimeter and takes necessary precautions to limit/minimize patient and staff exposure.


• Documents fluoroscopy time and radiation doses and evaluates reports to determine if values are within established safety limits.

Education:

Graduate of accredited radiology program

License:

Licensure ARRT(R) required

Certifications:

BLS/CPR Certification.
