Opportunity:
\nPharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work night shifts: weeknights 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekend nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Must have a PharmD degree
\n• Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of North Carolina required
\n• At least one (1) year of experience required
\n• Epic EMR experience required (recent experience preferred)
\n• Prior experience with pharmacist to dose protocols preferred
\n• Must reside more than 40 miles from facility (local rules apply)
\n• Float within hospital as needed
\n• Provide customer service to healthcare team members over phone or in person
\n• Verify medication orders and review for patient allergies, drug interactions, and appropriate therapy
\n• Verify home medications against medication reconciliation reports
\n• Utilize pharmacist to dose consults and collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
\n• Check IV admixtures for accuracy and ensure preparation meets USP 797/800 guidelines
\n• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred (must be AHA certified)
\n• Valid state license required with background check disclosure
