PHP is seeking a travel Histology Technician for a travel job in Watertown, New York.
Job Description & RequirementsHISTO TECH\n60 Mile Radius Rule\nDays (start times are either 5:30a or 6a)\n13 WEEKS\nEducation: Bachelor of science in medical technology, biology, chemistry or HTL certification from recognized agency.\nLicense requirement: Histotechnician AAS NY State license required.\nQualified candidate will assume responsibility for the processing, embedding, cutting and staining of surgical and autopsy tissue, and for preparation and staining of cytopathology specimens according to established policies and procedures for Pathologist's examination and interpretation.\nQualified candidate will be responsible for the correct management of the patient's body tissue which includes preparing microscopic sections for diagnosis by Pathologist as well as documentation and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Histologist will perform specialized, selective techniques required for diagnostic purposes and participate in the Quality Assurance program.\n-292186
