\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Patient ratios of 1:3-4
\n• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
\n• First to float priority
\n• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required (within past 6 months)
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n• Must pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam 24-48 hours prior to acceptance (maximum 2 attempts)
\n• Pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation with emphasis on sterile field techniques
\n• 2-day floor-specific orientation required
\n• Must be able to interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry monitoring
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Work with post cath lab patients, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, and general telemetry
\n• Administer medications including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, and Dobutamine (titrate down only)
\n• Care for patients 15 years old and older (no pediatrics)
\n• Use Cerner charting system
\n• Work on 32-bed CV Tele unit with charge nurse support and clinical supervisor
\n• Patient care technician support (1 PCT per 16 patients)
